Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionAs a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of incoming, in-process, and final inspections. This role involves reviewing purchase orders and drawings, comparing them to job travelers to verify specification accuracy, and conducting various testing procedures during the final inspection. A key component of the role is the ability to read blueprints and schematics and use measuring tools such as calipers and microscopes.Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Review incoming purchase orders and drawings for specification accuracy.
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and microscopes for inspections.
• Conduct final inspections including various testing procedures.
• Verify counts and place parts on racks, using microscopes when needed.
• Weigh parts to assist in counting lot items.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Complete all required paperwork in English.

Essential Skills

• Experience with quality control and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Basic math skills for converting weight to numbers and counting effectively.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

• Experience with computers and data entry.
• Ability to update ERP systems and spreadsheets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new processes.
• Willingness to be trained and comprehend various processes.
