Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior or Mid-Level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.The KC-135 is the mainstay of the USAF tanker fleet. To sustain this aging fleet for decades to come, this position will be involved in leading an effort to transform the maintenance plan using MSG-3 methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize mechanical systems expertise to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on KC-135 fleet availability.Position Responsibilities: 

  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment.
  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers.
  • Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
  • Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems.
  • Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
  • Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
  • Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience that reflect the job duties as described above.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience leading engineering projects
  • 9+ years of engineering experience that reflect the job duties as described above.

Typical Education Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience).
