AEROTEK AVIATION IS ACTIVELY SEEKING EXPERIENCED AIRCRAFT STRUCTURES MECHANICS FOR LONG TERM OPPORTUNITIES LOCATED IN BRIDGEWATER, VA. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS PERFORMING VARIOUS MILITARY ISR TASKS ON KING AIR AND DHC8 AIRFRAMES. COME APPLY AND JOIN OUR TEAM!Description:Perform modifications and heavy maintenance on King Airs and DHC8 aircrafts.Job responsibilities include the following:-Shoot and buck rivets to specifications-Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness-Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices-Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure-Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials-Perform repairs to the aircraft along with determine which repairs can or cannot be made-Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion, follow both written and verbal instructionsAdditional Skills Qualifications:5+ years aircraft structures experienceMust provide own toolsDCMA/Military environment experience preferred
