Job Title: Structures MechanicJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team at a leading 145 repair shop specializing in components, where you will perform regular maintenance on structures components and maintain meticulous records of all activities. You will be tasked with inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on structures components.
  • Develop and maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and reports related to parts or services.
  • Inspect and examine various types of structures components to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.
  • Consult maintenance manuals and specifications for correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.
  • Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts, enhancing the performance of the structures components.
  • Repair sheet metal as needed.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports.
  • Maintain all documentation related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of structures components.
  • Follow all Federal, company, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1+ years of sheet metal/structures experience.
  • Required Airframe certification.
  • Experience with MRO or 145 operations.
  • Thorough understanding of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to manual instructions to resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • A P certification preferred.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, inspecting, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Understanding of manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience with landing gear, full-blown disassembly, bird strike repairs, and patchwork.
