Clay Lacy Aviation strengthens its commitment to the Northeast United States and its economic future by celebrating not only the groundbreaking of its $20-million expansion at Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC) in Oxford, CT, but also the establishment of an annual scholarship and internship program with CT Aerotech of Hartford, CT. On hand for the July 19 event were Connecticut aviation leaders; state officials; administrators, instructors and students from CT Aerotech; and Clay Lacy team members.

Clay Lacy Aviation completes its tenth installation of the Garmin G1000® NXi avionics suite at its FAA Part 145 Repair Station at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), where Clay Lacy is an authorized Garmin dealer and has operated an Embraer Authorized Service Center since 2009. The company provides comprehensive maintenance, repair and overhaul services, including full-suite avionics installations, system upgrades and modifications.

Clay Lacy Aviation is the first company to receive a 4AIR sustainability rating of Facilities Neutral, validating that the company’s private-aviation facilities have been operating carbon neutral since 2019. Clay Lacy is the first company to complete its facilities audit by 4AIR, the first and only rating sustainability program dedicated to private aviation.

Clay Lacy Aviation’s FAA Part 145 Repair Station at Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC) is now certified by Transport Canada to provide aircraft maintenance services for Canadian-registered business jets. Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) certification is based on compliance with the highest standards for aircraft maintenance quality, safety, performance and expertise.

Clay Lacy Aviation announces it will offer sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at the company’s two FBOs at Van Nuys Airport and John Wayne Orange County Airport. World Fuel Services (World Fuel) begins monthly SAF deliveries to both locations this month, with 2021 deliveries to total a minimum of 100,000 gallons. World Fuel is also providing renewable diesel (RD) fuel to power Clay Lacy’s fuel trucks, GPUs, tugs and other ground support vehicles.
