To ensure Duncan Aviation’s customers are well-informed when it comes to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) NextGen mandates and guidelines, several of the company’s avionics experts have updated its Straight Talk book on the NextGen initiative for datalink.

The avionics installation team at the company’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, MI, installed the scalable, fully connected, integrated avionics system with advanced situational awareness and intuitive decision-making tools. Featuring touch-control primary flight displays, heads-up vision systems, and weather-threat detection systems, the advanced system allows pilots to fly with greater precision.

Since 2015, Duncan Aviation’s Turbine Engine Services has gained Honeywell TFE731 Heavy and HTF7000 Minor authorizations and brought a 20,000 lb.-thrust-class test cell online. New capabilities, increased efficiencies, and expanded room are now adding support to these larger engine and maintenance events.

Duncan Aviation announces its satellite facility in St. Paul, MN, recently installed the Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck in two of a customer’s Citation Excel aircraft. After removing the entire cockpit, the crew in St. Paul installed the G5000, which includes bright, high-resolution color displays, touchscreen interfaces with audible feedback, automatic flight guidance and control systems, GPS, synthetic vision system (SVS), and real-time weather, chart, traffic, and terrain information on the large moving maps that provide pilots with a great deal of situational awareness.

Duncan Aviation announces it will be installing its 250th Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO) AVANCE™ L5 in-flight Wi-Fi system in a Gulfstream GV-SP at its facility in Lincoln, NE. Using one of the nine supplemental type certificates (STC) developed by the company’s Engineering & Certification department, the Duncan Aviation avionics technicians will perform the company’s full-equipment installation of the popular, reliable Wi-Fi system.
