Textron Aviation announces that it has delivered the 400th Cessna Citation Latitude business jet to longtime Citation customer Simmons Foods, a family-owned and -operated company since 1949 of Siloam Springs, AR. Simmons Foods will utilize the new aircraft to enhance the efficiency of its company’s business travel, complementing its existing fleet of three Citation jets that are integral to managing operations across multiple locations.

SmartSky, provider of one of the most advanced inflight air-to-ground (ATG) connectivity system for business aviation, receives another Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certificate (STC) for its award-winning SmartSky LITE™ system on Cessna Citation 525B models encompassing the CJ3, CJ3+ and the award-winning CJ3 Gen2, manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company.

Textron Aviation announces the delivery of the first Cessna SkyCourier twin-engine utility turboprop equipped with a Combi interior conversion option. The aircraft was delivered to Everts Air, an Alaskan-based Part 135 operator serving passenger, cargo and charter needs throughout Alaska. Everts also operates Part 121, providing cargo and on-demand charter throughout North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean Islands.

Textron Aviation announces that all four of its recently upgraded Cessna high-wing piston aircraft will be featured at the 2024 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture fly-in convention in Oshkosh, WI. The highly anticipated Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 mockup will also make its first appearance at the show, following its initial reveal at the 2023 National Business Aviation Association–Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.

Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, and Civil Air Patrol (CAP) celebrate the delivery of four Cessna Skyhawk, one Cessna Skylane and one Cessna Turbo Stationair HD aircraft in Independence, KS. The aircraft will join a fleet of nearly 550 Cessna aircraft currently owned and operated by CAP.

Textron Aviation announces that Hahn Air has entered into a purchase agreement to be the European launch customer for the just-announced Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2. The deal, inked during the National Business Aviation Association–Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, also includes a new Cessna Citation Latitude. Both aircraft are expected to deliver in 2026.

This delivery further solidifies the Beechcraft King Air's place as the world's most popular family of business turboprop aircraft.

Textron Aviation announces that the Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck will soon be available for the Cessna Citation XLS+ and XLS Gen2 and available for installation at Textron Aviation Service Centers following supplemental type certification approval by the FAA, anticipated in the first half of 2024. The G5000 avionics upgrade modernizes the cockpit and addresses the evolution of FAA airspace, while also offering a lower cost of operation.

Textron Aviation and NetJets® announce a record-breaking fleet agreement with the option for NetJets to purchase up to 1,500 additional Cessna Citation business jets over the next 15 years. This agreement extends NetJets’ existing fleet agreement and includes options for an increasing number of aircraft each year, enabling NetJets to expand its fleet with Cessna Citation Ascend, Citation Latitude and Citation Longitude aircraft. In addition to the agreement, NetJets has been named the fleet launch customer for Textron Aviation’s newest jet, the Citation Ascend.

Textron Aviation announces it has been awarded a contract by AvMet International, LLC (AvMet), based in Fargo, ND, for one Beechcraft King Air 360CHW (cargo door, heavy weight) and four Beechcraft King Air 260 aircraft. The Beechcraft King Air fleet will support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology program for cloud seeding.
