Thornton Aviation successfully completes its first Gogo HDX installation on a Gulfstream G200, utilizing the Trimec Aviation supplemental type certificate (STC). This is the first Thornton Aviation G200 customer to upgrade from ATG to satcom services. This milestone project further demonstrates Thornton Aviation’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge connectivity solutions to business-aviation clients.

Thornton Aviation announces it has added a hangar and technicians at Burbank (KBUR) airport. With the expanded capacity, Thornton Aviation can now accommodate six large-cabin aircraft at the KBUR operation.

Thornton Aviation is the first West Coast MRO to install Starlink’s Satcom system on a Gulfstream 650. The Starlink project took three weeks to complete and was performed in the client’s hangar while the aircraft was down for maintenance. The aircraft is operated by a Van Nuys-based charter and aircraft management provider.
