Gulfstream G650

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces the final Gulfstream G650 has officially completed production. This aircraft will move to the next phase of the completions process at Gulfstream’s Appleton, WI, facility before making its official delivery to a customer later this year.

Satcom Direct, a business-aviation solutions provider, confirms approval by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the first supplemental type certificate (STC) for the SD Plane Simple® Ka-band tail-mount terminal for a Gulfstream G650. Equipping the Gulfstream GVI-type with the advanced technology represents a significant milestone in the SD Plane Simple antenna series rollout.

Flying Colours Corp., a North American maintenance, repair, overhaul and completions business, optimizes its advanced paint preparation and application facility at its Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, headquarters to perform a complete strip and subsequent high-tech repaint of a Gulfstream G650. On completion the Gulfstream G650 fuselage boasts a sparkling pearl/mica Diamond Mine basecoat surface combined with an intricate design incorporating curving stripes and complicated swirling patterns.
