Morson Are recruting for Aircraft Fitters on behalf of our prestigious client, based at RAF Brize Norton.
The company provides MAA Part 145 Aircraft support to the RAF A400M (Atlas) fleet.Morson have an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated career focused andambitious Aircraft Fitter seeking a role in a challenging, fast-paced and rewardingenvironment. Our aim as a team is to attract and develop key talent across all levelsof our growing aviation business.Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
General ResponsibilityAs an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs andModifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: -? Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed inthe supporting manuals? Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions? Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a“clean as you go” approach? Complying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrencereporting procedures? Complying with the safety policy? Complete aircraft paperwork to a high standard? An awareness of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safetyrequirements? Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture
Essential Job Function? Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of groundequipment? Can accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenancedocumentation.? Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.
Candidate Essential Requirements? Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification(Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academicqualification/traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experience orbe able to satisfy the Training / Maintenance management team.? Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificate? Knowledge of aeronautical regulations? Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom? Fluency in English, both written and verbal? Be able to obtain full SC security clearance
Desirable Criteria? Experience on A400M, Propeller or Wide body Aircraft? Previous exposure to AirNv and Amos? Knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 regulations? Have good communication skills, both verbally and written, andinterpersonal skills? A proven ability to work as part of a team? Be able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills? Possess proficient organisational skills and an ability to work in an efficientmanner? IPAF/MEWP familiarisation
Typical Working Conditions? Primarily based in Brize Norton however travel may be required? Shift will be 5x5x4 - 0700-1900? PPE is provide and its use is mandatory in the performance ofyour work.
Salary41085.00 per annum + 2720 shift uplift
