You’ll perform detailed disassembly, inspection, and reassembly while ensuring exceptional quality and reliability. This position also utilizes your MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience for fixture and part repairs about 10 of the time — perfect for a hands-on, technically skilled A&P mechanic who takes pride in precision work.What You’ll Do

  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble TFE731 engines.
  • Identify, document, and correct discrepancies during overhaul.
  • Read and interpret OEM manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks (approx. 10 of duties).
  • Support engine performance testing and certification.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to StandardAero quality standards.
  • Observe all safety and environmental procedures.

Position Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • 2–4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of MIG, TIG, or Stick welding experience on aluminum, steel, and other alloys. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Characteristics

  • Experience maintaining and repairing turbine engines. 
  • Prior TFE731 engine experience preferred.
  • Prior experience across MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in a fabrication setting.  
  • Strong documentation, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
