Job SummaryThe Flight Deck Coordinator is a vital member of the aviation team, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely coordination of all ground-based and flight-related activities on the flight line. This role requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and high-stakes environment.
Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in maintenance control of aircraft at the direction of senior contractor managers. Defines and assigns responsibilities by shift, functions, and operations per directives. Organizes the daily tasks and initiates the priorities to the work center supervisors. Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.

The Machine Parts Inspector I is responsible for performing detailed inspections on a wide variety of precision and complex in-process and finished machined parts, highly complex components, castings, forgings, fabricated sheet metal parts, and hardware that is produced in-house and/or supplied by vendors.
As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met.
This position is in the Flight Program Operations (AJF) organization. The incumbent will serve as a Maintenance Controller responsible for providing on-call technical and logistical support to ensure the continued airworthiness and availability of a specialized fleet of FAA aircraft.
Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12:00am.
