Job DescriptionInspectorWorking at our Vandalia Facilities:Our Vandalia facility is located 50 minutes north of the GE Aerospace headquarters and sits just north of the city of Dayton—known widely as the birthplace of aviation—where the Wright Brothers built the world’s first aircraft in their bicycle shop in the heart of downtown Dayton.

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for conducting in-process and final inspections of aerospace machining components and assemblies to ensure they meet all engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

In this role, this person will be part of Mechanical Analysis section at Bangalore Engineering Centre and will own the complete analysis deliverables associated with Rotor Structural parts for various GEnx, Catalyst, GE90/GP commercial product lines.

This role is within the Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) Commercial Mechanical Analysis team, where you will be analyzing CMC components within the combustion and high-pressure-turbine (HPT) modules of the LEAP and GE9X commercial turbofan engines.
