Aircraft Structures Mechanic III Position Summary
The Aircraft Structures Mechanic III role is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates of Technical or A P schools, as well as mechanics with fewer than five years of heavy aircraft experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of maintenance procedures and incoming materials, parts, and components. When required, inspect products supplied to the program to ensure that they meet customer requirements and AAR specifications to achieve superior quality.

Works closely with other mechanics and maintenance personnel on aircraft structural modifications, upgrades, and repairs. Locates cracks, breaks, holes, and dents in aircraft sheet metal structures and determines appropriate repairs from technical data to restore components to original strength.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Egress Technician inspects, repairs, and troubleshoots Aircraft Egress, Canopy Fracturing Systems and Emergency Oxygen system components to ensure compliance with prescribed maintenance requirements and manufacturers specifications. Essential Responsibilities:
Senior team member responsible for coaching and training F-16 Sheetmetal Mechanics, assisting in the incorporation of new work scope into the site, and identifying opportunities to improve site operations. Works closely with other mechanics and maintenance personnel on aircraft structural modifications, upgrades, and repairs.
