The Sheetmetal Technician Senior works under minimal supervision to safely lay out, fabricate, and install parts equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, and quality standards, and completed work should meet customer expectations.

Apply principles of basic electronics circuitry. Must be knowledgeable, and capable of troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level. Lay out, build, test, repair, and modify military-grade cable assemblies. Able to fluently read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Observe all Occupational, Safety, and Health guidance.

  • Work is on UH-60 cockpits and rework on A-10 wings and flaps
  • Seeking experienced candidates with New Production/Helicopters/Assemblers.
  • Drill close tolerance holes through various thicknesses and materials, including aluminum, titanium, composites, and steel.
  • Set up and use counter sink cutters and cages.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, illustrations, work instructions, and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, identities, and relationships of parts.

  • Works from drawings, blueprints manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and worksheets, and company, military, and customer specifications and procedures.
  • Drills, edge fills, fits, and assembles a variety of detail parts, skins, and honeycomb details.
  • Inspects for proper installations and integrity.
  • $250 travel pay
  • Must have 2 years of commercial aircraft experience
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be able to pass DOT drug screen and background
  • Must be willing to work any shift
  • Work is on Boeing 737, 757, 767
