OverviewJob Summary: Avionics Technician (with A P) is responsible for being an essential part of the success of the Certificated Repair Station by installation, troubleshooting and repair of avionics systems and equipment installed in company aircraft.

Fabricate fluid transfer lines/tubing and/or hydraulic parts to support the next assembly areas. Ensure quality standards are maintained.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

In a team-oriented environment, perform all tasks in Initial Phase Manufacturing, Composites, and Final Phase in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data.
Essential Functions:

Provides technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.

The Sheetmetal Technician Senior works under minimal supervision to safely lay out, fabricate, and install parts equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, and quality standards, and completed work should meet customer expectations.

In a team-oriented work environment, under moderate supervision, performs a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department.
