The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions. 

 Principal Accountabilities:

Aircraft Mechanic I performs inspection, diagnoses, repairs and monitors systems structure, gear, controls, power and electrical and/or electronic systems and components as assigned. Receives technical guidance from team leads and/or supervisors, which may be more senior technicians. Uses hand tools, power tools, machines and ancillary equipment required to perform assigned task.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (Avionics Mechanic) adjusts, repairs and/or replaces electrical wiring and aircraft system avionics.  Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic 1 specialized in Egress and/or Environmental Control Systems (F/A-18E/F and/or EA-18G experience is required) in support of the U.S Naval Air Station maintenance operations at NAS Whidbey Island.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (Sheetmetal/Structural Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

The UH60 Aircraft Mechanic II performs Inspections, repairs and, modification tasks as directed.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.Principal Accountabilities:

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic AM-2 performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

Aircraft Mechanic IIITroubleshoots malfunctions in various aircraft systems and performs general mechanical maintenance of the assigned aircraft. Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.

The AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic III performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty.
