The Principal Operations Inspector (POI) serves as the primary operations interface between assigned air carriers, air operators, air agencies, airmen, designees, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Has program responsibility to assure that assigned organizations meet Title 14 Code of Federal Regulation (14 CFR) with respect to general aviation operations programs.
The Principal Avionics Inspector serves as the primary operations interface.
The position serves as the POI (Rotorcraft/Helicopter) for Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) for general aviation rotorcraft/helicopter operations. The employee will perform the full range of certification, surveillance, and inspection duties for assigned air carriers, air operators, air agencies, airmen, and designees.
Incumbent serves as an Aviation Safety Technician (AST) providing technical support to Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASIs) and the public. Performs or assists with a wide range of certification, surveillance, and investigation duties requiring research and evaluation in accordance with current FAA safety directives/orders.The duty station is Milwaukee, WI.This is not a 100 telework position.
