They also test engine components and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and use testing equipment to diagnose and identify engine problems.
The Aircraft Mechanic I (AH-64 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.
