StandardAero announces it has received FAA approval for acceptance testing of the Rolls-Royce RB211-535 turbofan engine at its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in San Antonio, Texas.  This achievement, which followed a test cell correlation effort undertaken in partnership with the engine manufacturer, marks StandardAero’s attainment of full capability on the RB211-535, in support of the life-of-type maintenance services partnership signed with Rolls-Royce in 2018.

AOne Parts & Logistics purchases a Learjet 45 airframe for purpose of dismantling and removing all components and material to be used for resale. The Lear 45 (45-207) is a non-incident-related airframe that went in for a scheduled maintenance event which was not completed. The decision was made that this Lear 45 would not fly again and that the engines and airframe could be repositioned and reutilized more effectively as a non-flyer.
