Garmin announces expanded availability of its comprehensive obstacle database to now include Canada for select Garmin portables and certified avionics. Man-made structures such as towers that are greater than 200 feet AGL are included within this database. Additionally, an obstacle database tailored to helicopter operators includes man-made structures that are greater than 10 feet AGL.

StandardAero's Houston, TX (IAH) MRO facility installs its first GOGO Business Aviation UCS-5000 smart router and media server on a Hawker 800XP aircraft. Along with the new router, the company also installed an ATG-5000 system. Together, these two systems provide passengers the ability to watch the latest television shows and movies while also using the internet. As part of the project, StandardAero utilized a Liberty Partners Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to activate the WIFI.
