The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces the donation of more than $28,000 to veterans’ organizations raised through the 2015 NATA Flag Pins for Veterans Project. NATA and its members launched the project in 2014 to expand support of our nation’s veterans and have raised nearly $60,000 since its inception. Donations from this year’s project will once again support the Veterans Airlift Command and the Medal of Honor Foundation.

Lycoming Engines, an operating division of Avco Corporation, announces that two of its Integrated Electronic Engines (iE2) have been successfully installed on Tecnam of Italy’s P2012 Traveller test aircraft. Roll-out of this next generation, 11-seat, twin piston engine aircraft is due in February 2016, and its first flight is scheduled for June 2016.

ONE Aviation partners with Ascension Air of Atlanta, GA, to launch Contrails, a new personally-flown jet timeshare program featuring the Eclipse 550 twin-engine jet. Ascension Air will be adding the Eclipse to its current fleet of Cirrus aircraft that are managed under a similar timeshare, lease, or jet card framework. The program includes participants being type-rated in the Eclipse Jet.

ONE Aviation announces that Jinggong General Aviation, the exclusive distributor of the Eclipse 550 and Eclipse Special Edition (SE) jets in China, has placed an order for twenty Eclipse jets to be delivered over the next several years. "It is currently believed that China will need 10,000 light aircraft within the next five to ten years to accommodate general aviation's rapid expansion," says Alan Klapmeier, ONE Aviation's CEO. "We are delighted that our partner, Jinggong, is taking the lead position in that market."
