CCX Technologies reveals that the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Waco campus is using the T-RX avionics tester to train students in its avionics technology program. Duncan Aviation announces that three of its satellite avionics facilities are now offering tool calibration services for torque wrenches, multimeters, crimpers and other tools used in aviation maintenance. The equipment that provides the capabilities will rotate between Duncan's Satellite Shops several times a year, and as more technicians throughout the Duncan Aviation satellite network are trained, more satellite facilities will offer the tool-calibration service.

Textron Aviation and Honeywell Aerospace are developing an exclusive program for Hawker 4000 and Cessna Citation Sovereign aircraft equipped with the Honeywell PRIMUS EPIC integrated cockpit to allow pilots to communicate more easily with air traffic controllers and to utilize the most current Data Link services offered in North America and Europe. The aircraft upgrade is expected to be available in mid-2022.

German airline Lufthansa CityLine selects StandardAero to provide support for the GE Aviation CF34-8C turbofan engines powering its fleet of MHI RJ Aviation (formerly Bombardier) CRJ900 regional jets. Under the exclusive seven-year agreement, StandardAero will support Lufthansa CityLine with a range of CF34-8C services from its overhaul facility in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. StandardAero will also be qualifying its European field-service team based in Rijen, the Netherlands, to support the CF34, thereby assuring Lufthansa CityLine of responsive, local airside assistance.
