Responsibilities

  • Engine Run Qualified is required for this position
  • Structural Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures according to maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.
  • Repair and Modification: Execute repairs and modifications on aircraft structural components using approved techniques and materials.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install structural components and systems on aircraft, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications performed, complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all tasks and operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality aircraft maintenance.
  • Completes any or all structural rework/repair, squawks, and E.O.'s.
  • Perform work of the level described herein, interpret complex blueprints and use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions.
  • Must be able to utilize computer-based systems to perform duties.
  • May be required to work in a confined space.
  • Use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

  • Fabricate detail parts from blueprint or engineering instructions

Requirements

  • A P license (preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience on F-16 military aircraft
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures and relative tasks
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must be willing/able to work any shift or schedule.
  • Structural Mechanics repair aircraft primary and secondary structure in accordance with OEM repair data or engineering drawings.
