Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) announces that the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) approvals for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR, worked closely with Gogo to obtain the STC modification, which is now available for installation from Dassault Falcon Jet and its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network.

Quality Aircraft Accessories (QAA) reopens an expanded Fort Lauderdale repair station focusing on maintenance, repair and overhaul of general-aviation accessories, principally magnetos and exhaust systems. After being shut down for several months for renovations, the Fort Lauderdale reopening features a larger facility and additional employees with revamped, modernized processes and the addition of welding services, primarily to accommodate aircraft engine exhaust system refurbishment.

ATP, a provider of information services and software solutions for the aviation industry, announces that its ChronicX solution has been named a winner in the Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards program presented by the Business Intelligence Group. LYTE Aviation Reveals 40-seat Hybrid eVTOL

LYTE Aviation, the world’s newest advanced air-mobility innovator addressing advanced urban mobility and connectivity, reveals its 40-seat (hybrid) eVTOL SkyBus and SkyTruck program. LYTE Aviation’s LA-44 design is powered by four conventional turbine engines running on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) complemented with four electric motors at the wingtips powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The SkyBus and complementary SkyTruck cargo variant, designed around a 4.5 tonne payload, is the accumulation of three years’ R&D. The result is a game-changing vertical take-off and landing vehicle designed to be five times more fuel-efficient than current helicopters.

StandardAero signs a long-term CFM-branded service agreement (CBSA) to support the CFM International LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. Under the terms of the CBSA, StandardAero becomes part of CFM’s authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network for the latest generation LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines, providing a full range of MRO services to operators worldwide.

FAA Issues SAIB for Hartzell and McCauley Propellers

On March 15, the FAA issued SAIB 2023-04. The SAIB alerts owners, operators, maintenance technicians and inspectors of an airworthinesss concern for Hartzell Propeller Inc. (Hartzell) and McCauley Propeller Systems (McCauley) propellers, specifically those returned to service by Trinity Specialized Services, LLC (Trinity) doing business as Specialized Propeller Services, LLC.
