West Star Aviation announces it has completed its first paint project of an Embraer Lineage aircraft at its Chattanooga, TN (CHA), location, one of its four full-service facilities. The aircraft was received on Oct. 30 and delivered back to the customer on Dec. 4. West Star’s CHA paint hangar is one of only a few MROs that can facilitate the sizable lineage aircraft.

Wichita Aero Club announces it will inaugurate a new board chairman, Ashley Bowen Cook — the first female to lead the aviation industry organization — when it hosts its 11th WAC Trophy Gala on Jan. 29, 2022. She succeeds John O’Leary, vice president and general manager of Airbus Americas Engineering, as chairman.
