C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that it has signed an agreement, conducted through Ernst & Young, to sell 737NG inventory owned by REX Airlines in Australia. The unfortunate circumstance of REX going into administration has resulted in its 737 fleet no longer flying and becoming available for sale. The inventory, containing a CFM56-7 engine, auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other fast-moving parts, was purchased by REX to support its now grounded fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens a new warehouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, which will be fully operational in July. The location is strategically located between the two major airports in Johannesburg and is a convenient shipping hub for customers in the African region. The new warehouse will support C&L’s established sales team in Africa and will initially house inventories for ERJ 135/145, and ATR 42/72, which will expand into other aircraft types as demand dictates. 

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, purchases an E190 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital. This complete aircraft is currently being disassembled in Portugal, and parts from this aircraft will join C&L’s growing E170/190 inventory at the company’s main headquarters in Bangor, ME.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, signs an agreement with AVIAN Inventory Management (AVIAN) to assist in marketing and selling inventory consisting of 85,000 individual part numbers and over 18 million total parts, spanning several aircraft types, including ERJ 145, E170, E190, E-Jet, E120, Legacy, Phenom and Predator.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens a 20,000-square-foot parts warehouse in Leipzig, Germany. The location was carefully researched and chosen in order to provide the most convenient shipping hub for Europe and beyond. The company warehouse will store aircraft parts inventories for ATR 42/72, ERJ 145, E170/190, Saab 340 and more.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, purchases two Citation Sovereign and two Citation XLS aircraft for teardown. Disassembly projects are underway on two of the aircraft with the other two projects already completed at C&L’s Bangor MRO facility.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens an 8,500-square-foot parts warehouse in Wichita, KS. The company will be utilizing the warehouse to store avionics and parts inventories for Citation XLS, Citation Sovereign, BeechJet, Hawker, Challenger ERJ 135/145, and E170/190 aircraft.

As part of the company’s increased customer demand and continued expansion, C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that Jennifer Kempsey has joined the company in the position of regional sales manager of Corporate MRO for the northeastern United States. Kempsey will assist C&L’s corporate-aviation customers with maintenance packages, including modifications, avionics upgrades, interior upgrades and paint services.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, expands its partnership with Parker Meggitt, Securaplane Technologies, by signing a new long-term distribution agreement. Under the agreement, C&L Aerospace is authorized to distribute Parker Meggitt’s full line of STC-approved mainship batteries, emergency batteries, and BizJet camera product lines.

C&L Aerospace, part of C&L Aviation Group, announces that Piet Buys has joined the company as a technical representative, specializing in ATR 42/72, ERJ 135/145/170/175/190/195, Q400, and Challenger aircraft. C&L’s customers can now leverage Buys’ wealth of knowledge for any technical support needs.
