We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aviation Maintenance Administration (AZ equivalent) specializing in MH-60R MH-60S Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) / O-Level Maintenance Squadron Support located at Rota Spain.
The Aviation Maintenance Administrator (AZ equivalent) provides administrative support for aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with maintenance documentation, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. This role supports maintenance teams by managing records, tracking work orders, and facilitating communication between personnel, management, and regulatory authorities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of current or previous experience in complex aviation operations related to PMI programs.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage aircraft maintenance records, logs, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, military directives).
  • Track maintenance schedules, inspections, and recurring maintenance actions.
  • Prepare, process, and distribute work orders, maintenance reports, and other technical documentation.
  • Coordinate maintenance workflow between technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and reports.
  • Assist in scheduling personnel, resources, and training related to aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Perform other administrative tasks to support efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
  • (AZ rating) qualification.

  • May include duties as defined on COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
Requirements: 

Minimum of 8 yearsrsquo; current or previous experience performing aviation administrative duties to include but not limited to:

  • Scheduling aircraft inspections.
  • Keeping charts that show trends in aircraft system reliability.
  • Organizing and operating libraries of technical publications, reports, and related maintenance data.
  • Issuing aircraft inspection and work orders.
  • Performing clerical and administrative duties such as filing and typing.
  • Preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Performing computer database and system analysis.
  • Maintaining engine logbooks and associated aircraft records.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., NALCOMIS, OOMA, ALIS, or equivalent).
  • Extensive knowledge of MH-60R/S systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2) and NALCOMIS/OOMA
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Pass a background check
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card or ROTA Base Access ID.
  • Active Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, if required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed.
  • Ability to climb and stand on ladders when necessary.
  • Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
  • Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions.
  • Position may require use and/or exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.
  • Position is located near or in a high noise area within an aircraft hangar / flightline environment.
  • FIT for Duty Physical is required.
  • May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals.
