Responsible for leading and directing the activities of other GSE mechanics. Also does the work of a mechanic as required.
As a member of the Menzies Aviation Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic team you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Performs structural and sheet metal repairs and modifications to aircraft, accessories, and associated equipment. Must be knowledgeable about the operation and maintenance of structural metal equipment and machinery. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge and experience to solve structural repair problems.
- Performs modifications, removal, replacement and reinstallation actions; part fabrication; layouts, templates, etc., for structural integrity, quality and completeness of work.
Performs the troubleshooting and repairing of complex avionics/electrical components and subsystems discrepancies and modifications.
In-depth knowledge with the operation and maintenance of various avionics/electrical support equipment and test benches.
Proficient in reading wiring schematics and drawings.
