Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required.

Advises about metals machining and welding and designs, manufactures, or modifies special precision tools, gauges, dies, and fixtures to facilitate metal-working operations.
Classification Description Assesses the effectiveness of the maintenance process and determines if QC maintenance evaluations are achieving the intended results, samples are adequate to predict trends, and/or focus needs to be redirected. Conducts the maintenance evaluation program.
