Clay Lacy Teams with World Fuel Services and World Energy to Offer Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Transitions Ground Support Vehicles to Renewable Diesel
Clay Lacy Aviation announces it will offer sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at the company’s two FBOs at Van Nuys Airport and John Wayne Orange County Airport. World Fuel Services (World Fuel) begins monthly SAF deliveries to both locations this month, with 2021 deliveries to total a minimum of 100,000 gallons. World Fuel is also providing renewable diesel (RD) fuel to power Clay Lacy’s fuel trucks, GPUs, tugs and other ground support vehicles.

Duncan Aviation Receives TCCA and EASA Approval for ACA Ionizer Installation Packages for Challenger Aircraft
Duncan Aviation announces it has secured approval from Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for two supplemental type certificates (STCs). Duncan Aviation’s Engineering and Certification Services and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) departments created an installation package for the Aviation Clean Air (ACA) ionization system for Global and Challenger 300 and 350 aircraft. ACA packages are now available for aircraft throughout Canada and the European Union.
Aviation Specialties Unlimited Announces NVIS FAA STC for UH-60
Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) in Boise, ID, announces the company obtained a supplemental type certificate (STC) from the FAA for NVIS (night vision imaging system) use on the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The aircraft, owned by Firehawk Helicopters (Firehawk) with a base also in Boise, will be used for firefighting.

APPH Wichita (part of Heroux Devtek Group) recently announced it is ceasing all U.S. operations effective March 19, 2021, and transferring all work to APPH LTD (Heroux Devtek UK). After this date, all U.S. customers are able to receive customer support by going directly to APPH LTD (Heroux Devtek UK) or seeking out an Héroux-Devtek distributor, such as Duncan Aviation.
