I recently learned of the passing of Richard McSpadden, AOPAs Air Safety Institute’s leader and past Thunderbird Commander. McSpadden’s popularity was nearly unparalleled as he hosted several podcasts and did public speaking and presentations on a regular basis. The pilot community has celebrated his life after the tragic accident that took his life — and rightly so!

Duncan Aviation delivers a fully refurbished Falcon 2000 with a freshly painted exterior and all new interior featuring cabinets with hydrographic finishes during a recent 2C/4C inspection. The aircraft also received a Collins Pro Line 21 avionics upgrade, a Collins Venue CMS upgrade, Gogo AVANCE L5, HUD removal, the GH-39000 electronic standby instrument system, the LASEREF IV Inertial Reference System, and dual USB ports.

Textron Aviation announces it has been awarded a contract by AvMet International, LLC (AvMet), based in Fargo, ND, for one Beechcraft King Air 360CHW (cargo door, heavy weight) and four Beechcraft King Air 260 aircraft. The Beechcraft King Air fleet will support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology program for cloud seeding.
