Duncan Aviation announces it has added two members to its Continuous Improvement (CI) team. StandardAero is celebrating 25 years of providing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support for the Rolls-Royce AE 3007 turbofan, which powers the Embraer ERJ regional jet family, the Cessna Citation X business jet, the Northrop Grumman RQ/MQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and the Boeing MQ-25 Stingray UAS. Since inducting its first AE 3007 in 1997, StandardAero’s Maryville, TN, facility has processed over 6,500 engines for operators worldwide.

The Aeronautix AWAS provides voice alerts when engine temps or torque are exceeded in critical maneuvers.

Aeronautix is awarded an FAA STC for its aural warning and annunciation system (AWAS) which the company is manufacturing and installing on the Beechcraft King Air 300 and 350 series aircraft. The system, designed to integrate with the Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics suite, improves situational awareness by giving aural voice warnings to pilots, avoiding potential engine damage due to over-temp or over-torque conditions.
