West Star Aviation announces the promotions of four technicians to lead positions in the Falcon, Citation and Avionics departments at the East Alton, IL, (ALN) facility: Kevin Rowe, lead aircraft maintenance, Falcon; Chad Head, lead sheetmetal technician, Falcon; Ken Schnurbusch, lead avionics maintenance; and Noah Vogt, lead aircraft maintenance, Citation.

West Star Aviation announces its partnership with Collins Aerospace in completing a CJ 1+ STC for a Pro Line Fusion® upgrade including all of the Fusion optional items. The partnership now enables Collins Fusion as an upgrade option for CJ 1+, 2+ and 3 aircraft. The Fusion upgrade and first certification on this Citation model was completed on an aircraft owned by Astronaut Hall of Fame member, Charlie Precourt.

ServiceEdge significantly differentiates an aircraft operator’s service center experience by providing actionable content in real-time anywhere on any device, with features for customers to review quotes and ongoing jobs while engaging facility staff in chat conversations. Developed in collaboration with West Star Aviation, ServiceEdge enhances service center and operator productivity allowing for profitable growth while cultivating long-term customer relationships.

West Star announces the promotion of James Davis to aircraft maintenance supervisor of the Gulfstream department at its East Alton, IL (ALN), facility. Davis will be responsible for supervising all Gulfstream projects at the ALN location.

West Star Aviation completes its 2021 ELP Outreach Program at the Grand Junction, CO (GJT), facility, aiding a local middle school with two solar charging stations. West Star works in correlation with other local supporting companies to design, build and fund environmental projects in the area.

West Star Aviation announces the remodel and expansion of the Aircraft Interior Design Center at its Grand Junctions, CO (GJT), facility is nearing completion. The expansion became necessary due to growth in the Global and Gulfstream segments.

As part of a company-wide objective to improve efficiency and further reduce downtimes, West Star Aviation implements the Corridor Go program that will put custom-configured iPads in the hands of over 600 technicians. The new technology will improve the scaling of the overall work process on the shop floor, leading to a simpler way of work.
