Position Purpose:
The Sheetmetal Technician II works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Monroe County Sheriff's Office is recruiting for a Full Time Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Full Time Avionics Maintenance Technician to work in Marathon, FL.The Aircraft Maintenance Technician provides onsite maintenance support for Monroe County Sheriff's Office aircraft including Sikorsky S-76, and Bell OH-58 Helicopters.

RESPONSIBILITIES The supervising mechanic is responsible for the maintenance being performed at the facility. He/she will ensure the work is done in a safe, timely manner to meet the client's goals, budgets and expectations. Customer and vendor communication will be required to ensure the maintenance events run as planned. Review and oversight of the work orders will also be required.

Experience on maintaining King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. Is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. These tasks are performed on avionics electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components.
