Guardian Avionics (by CO Guardian LLC) indroduces the Aero 454. The Aero 454 receives data from an aircraft’s Garmin GPS units (430, 530, 650, 750, G900, G1000) and re-transmits it simultaneously to as many as three iPad/tablet devices held by pilots or passengers. It can now also transmit standby frequencies on the SL30/SL40 from a Flight Guide IEFB app Airport Pages.

Aviall's customer service center in Amsterdam, Holland, now stocks jet fuel biocide Biobor JF. "We are very excited about this new agreement, which will give our customers in the European Union quicker access to Biobor JF with fast direct shipping," says Rick Richardson, aviation sales manager at Hammonds Fuel Additives. "Aviall's facility is located 20 to 30 minutes north of the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The sales staff in Amsterdam is multi-lingual and ready to service various needs of the international marketplace."

Broomfield, CO - JETTECH announces the issuance of an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for installing the new touch screen Garmin GTN 650/750 GPS/NAV/COM on Cessna Citation 500 series aircraft to include models 500, 501, 550, 551, S550 and 560. Moline, IL - Elliott Aviation announces the promotion of Conrad Theisen to avionics sales manager and Mike Warren to maintenance sales manager, at its Moline, Ill., headquarters. Theisen joined Elliott Aviation as an avionics technician in 1996 and has most recently served as senior project manager. He has also served as avionics modification manager and assistant avionics manager. Theisen will assist Mark Wilken, avionics sales director.

Sao  Paolo, Brazil - Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS), a joint venture of Embraer and CAE, announces the launch of Phenom aircraft pilot and maintenance technician training in Brazil at CAE's training center near Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo. This is the third ECTS training location; other locations include Dallas and Burgess Hill, U.K., and the fourth Phenom full-flight simulator (FFS). The Phenom FFS is the first advanced technology flight simulator for business aircraft in South America.

Fort Worth, Texas - Baker Aviation recently completed the Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/U.S.) two-day audit for its Part 135 Air Carrier Operation. The successful completion of the audit resulted in Baker Aviation being awarded the platinum safety rating from ARG/U.S., which is the highest rating a 135 Charter Operator can receive. Out of the nearly 2,500 nationwide Part 135 operators, only four percent have achieved a platinum rating.

Wichita, Kan. - Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. company, announces the renaming its newest single engine product. The jet-fuel burning turbo aircraft announced at the EAA/AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wis., as the Turbo Skylane NXT will now be called the Turbo Skylane JT-ATM.

Tempe, Ariz. - StandardAero has delivered its 6,000th auxiliary power unit (APU) since the program’s inception in 1995. The milestone took place at StandardAero’s Maryville, Tenn., facility and was a Hamilton Sundstrand APS2300, delivered to a commercial customer.
